Have an appointment?

Lots of kids need a haircut and Bambinos can get pretty busy. We do take walk-ins, but you can reduce your waiting time by scheduling an appointment. We are usually busiest in the afternoon, after school and on weekends. If your child does better in a quieter, less crowded environment, you may want to schedule your appointment Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 1:00 & 3:00. During your visit

Your stylist will discuss what you would like to have done and then take your child to their work area. Your stylist will consult you throughout the haircut on any questions or special considerations, then check for your final approval.

If your child does not have an easy time with haircuts, you may want to consider a few options. Sometimes a child will behave differently with mom or with dad. You can try having the other parent bring your child in. Also, sometimes a child will do better without mom or dad standing directly next to them. Another thing to consider is that it is easy for your child to pick up on your stress. If you are nervous or anticipate difficulty, you may pass that nervousness on to your child.

Please make sure the haircut "decision maker" accompanies your child to their appointment. Instructions sent with someone else sometimes get mixed up and you may not be happy with the finished style.
